The Pacific Coliseum is the PNE's largest and most iconic venue. The Pacific Coliseum is the largest building within the Hastings Park complex and provides a magnificent setting for events as diverse as ice shows, boxing, basketball, hockey, concerts, circuses, large assemblies, and trade & consumer shows.
The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) is a non-profit and statutory organization dedicated to delivering memorable experiences to guests and investing in the social fabric of the Vancouver community. Since 1910, millions of guests have enjoyed shows, exhibits, sporting events, amusement rides, concerts, cultural activities, and the annual summer Fair at the PNE. PNE is located in Vancouver, B.C.
Hans Raj Hans was born in Shafipur, in the district of Jalandhar in Panjab, India, on April 09, 1962. A singer and later a politician by profession, Hans began his music journey at a young age. Over the years he gained popularity with his soulful renditions of Panjabi folk and Sufi songs. Hans has released numerous albums and has performed on various national and international platforms. His entry into politics was marked by his association with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), a regional political party in Panjab. Hans is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Padma Shri Award presented to him by the Government of India in 2002.
