Kamal's Video Palace is a video store opened on December 1st, 1990 by Kamal Sharma, a prominent media and entertainment personality in the South Asian community. Kamal's Video Palace (KVP) was the first fully computerized video store in the South Asian community. Owing to Sharma's popularity and the content in the store, KVP became a focal point for the community and attracted politicians, business leaders, and entertainment personalities alike.
The Punjabi Bazaar is an area in Surrey, located at the intersection of 93A Avenue and 120th Street, that is lined with South Asian grocery stores, restaurants, jewellery stores, and sweet shops.
