Thilaadanam (2000) is a Telugu drama film directed by K. N. T. Sastry. The film, which deals with themes of caste and generational conflict, tells the story of Subbaiah, an outcast Brahmin priest, and his son Raghuram, a Naxalite. The film explores their ideological differences and the consequences of their choices. The cast includes H. G. Dattatreya, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, and Jaya Seal. The film received positive reviews and won the National Film Award for Best Debut Film of a Director for K. N. T. Sastry. It also won the New Currents Award at the 7th Busan International Film Festival and was featured in the Indian Panorama at the 33rd International Film Festival of India.

Jaya Seal Ghosh is an Indian actress and dancer, born on August 1, 1971, in Guwahati, Assam, India. She graduated from the National School of Drama in New Delhi in 1997 and has acted in various feature films across eight languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, Odia, Telugu, Assamese, and English. She received the Best Actress Award at the Assam Prag Cine Awards for her role in Sringkhal in 2014. Jaya is also trained in Bharatanatyam and has performed at various prestigious venues.
