Anne Bhanu Chopra was born in Delhi, India but raised in Canada. Chopra, B.Comm., M.I.R. (Queen's) J.D., is a corporate lawyer, public company director, lecturer, coach & law society ombudsperson. For 18 years, Chopra was the ombudsperson for the Law Society of British Columbia, providing conflict resolution, education, coaching and training to individuals and firms. In September 1999, Chopra published her first book, Beyond the Mirror: Seeing Ourselves as We Are. It was published by Abacho Publishing, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The poetry book offers a reflective and personal perspective from Chopra about life.
